Amazing Race Leg 4: Sand and Poop Oh My
Teams must now travel to the tropical island of Sulani!
Teams depart in order:
Angela and Lilith: 10.40 a.m
Hugo and Luna: 10.45 a.m
Cayden and Ernest: 11.00 a.m
Rodrigo and Diego: 11.45 a.m
Brent and Brant: 12.00 p.m
Nancy and Geoffrey: 12.45 a.m
Bob and Eliza: 1.00 p.m
Teams must now travel to Sand Simoleon Beach where they will receive their next clue.
In this Roadblock, teams must perform a fire dance. If they are successful, they will receive their next clue. But there's only five fire pits so if a team member fails they must go to the back of the queue and wait for their next turn.
And the girls get off to a good start!
Hugo on the other hand, fails.
And Ernest is doing well with the fire dancing!
Angela succeeds and keeps her lead!
Ernest succeeds! He and Cayden are now in second!
Hugo fails again!
Rodrigo is here to show off his moves!
Rodrigo fails!
Hugo manages to do it!
Brant fails!
Rodrigo fails again!
But he finally succeeds!

Bob fails his first attempt!
But he finally gets it! The last 2 teams race for the clue box and head for the detour.
The two teams make their way and grab their clue. Teams must now travel to the Sapphire Shores Beach for the Detour where they must choose between SHELL or SMELL. In Shell, teams must work together to build 2 sandcastles the same. If their sandcastles are different, they must start over and rebuild until they have two matching sandcastles. Once they have , they receive their next clue.
In Smell, teams must comb for trash on the beach, to find 5 sulani artifacts. They must then put all the trash into a recycler to receive their next clue.
The teams get to work.
At SMELL
Diego finds an artifact! He and Rodrigo have 1/5!
Angela finds one! She and Lilith have 1/5!
Hugo finds one! He and Luna have 1/5!
And at SHELL
The sandcastle detour has a lot of miscommunication and mishaps with different sandcastles being built!
But Cayden and Ernest build the same! They can proceed to the next clue!
Diego finds another artifact. He and Rodrigo have 2/5!
Brent finds 1/5!
Bob and Eliza aren't on the same page at all!
"I said a turtle! A turtle. As slow as we are in this race!"
"Turtle! I swore you said gnome!" Eliza moans. They have to start over.
Brant finds one! He and Brant have 2/5!
Rodrigo and Diego find another. They have 3/5!
Hugo has another! He and Luna have 2/5!
Nancy and Geoffrey that is not a match.
Brant finds another! He and Brent have 3/5
Rodrigo and Diego find all their artifacts! They can recycle their trash!
Brent and Brant found 4/5! They need 1 more1
Hugo finds another and Luna finds 1! They have 4/5!
Rodrigo and Diego are currently in 2nd place as they recycle their trash!
Bob and Eliza match their sandcastles! They can move on!
Sorry that is not a match Geoffrey and Nancy!
Angela finds another! She and Lilith need 1 more! (They found another while I wasn't looking lol)
Nancy and Geoffrey struggle to build their sandcastles together.
And Brant finds his last one!

Nancy and Geoffrey struggle to make their sandcastles match.
And finally! After many hours they build a sandcastle the same!
Teams must now travel to Ohan'Ali Beach, where they must find 3 different sea shells each. Once they have performed this task, they can proceed to the pit stop. The last team to check in may be eliminated.
Diego gets 1/3 different shells!
Brant gets 1/3 different shells!
And Luna is quick to get 3 different shells but must wait for Hugo!
Everybody looks for their shells.
Teams hunt for seashells
Rodrigo and Diego have 2/3 each! Angela has 2/3! Lilith has all her shells! Ernest has all his shells but Cayden has 2/3!
And after everyone gets their sea shells together!
Brent and Brant. You're Team #1! And that means you have won a all expenses trip to Sulani, two outrider canoes and free swimming lessons from Sim or Swim.
Bob and Eliza. You're Team #2! And that means you are still in the race.
Cayden and Ernest. You're Team #3!
Angela and Lilith. You're Team #4!
Hugo and Luna. You're Team #5!
Diego and Rodrigo. You're team #6 and that means you are (narrowly) still in the race!
Nancy and Geoffrey, you are the last team to arrive. And I am sorry to tell you that you have been eliminated from the race.
"I feel like we did pretty well," Geoffrey says, "we raced, we saw some of the world and we'll be back. "
Nancy *whispers to the camera crew* It's good we kept my mafia boss secret too! We'll be famous for our time on this race and maybe everyone will stop thinking I am into crime. I can't wait to go home and sleep in non-hotel beds and stop travelling. I have so many wrinkles. I blame Geoffrey for our loss!"
Geoffrey: "It was both our faults. It was the sand! "
Nancy: "I hate sand!"
They kiss and head off. Nancy winks at the camera. Making us wonder whether or not she was actually serious about being a crime lord or mafia boss or whether that was a hint she'll be back for All Stars or Second Chances.
Hugo and Luna. You're Team #5!
Diego and Rodrigo. You're team #6 and that means you are (narrowly) still in the race!
