Leg 3: To Mt Komorebi

I had to remove Ruth/Dana from the race due to a glitch but they will race on Season 2. Dana has remained with us as a detour and roadblock tester. :) 

Sims 4 teams depart in the order that they arrived at the Pit Stop: 

First departing is Brent and Brant.  They leave at 10.00 a.m 
Next is Nancy and Geoffrey departing at 10.30 a.m 
Next is Diego and Rodrigo departing at 10.45 a.m 
Next is Joaquin and Sergio departing at 11 a.m 
Next is Lilith and Angela departing at 11.30 a.m 
Next is Cayden and Ernest departing at 12 p.m 
Next is Hugo and Luna departing at 12.30 p.m 
And Finally Bob and Eliza who depart at 12.45 p.m

Somewhere on this leg of the race, Bob and Eliza will encounter a SPEED BUMP. A speed bump is a task that only the last place team in a non elimination leg has to complete, which could cost them time. 

Teams must now travel to the snowy valleys of Mt Komorebi, where they will encounter snow, blizzards and cold, cold weather.  

First up is a Roadblock. In this roadblock, 1 member of each team must look through a Simmi Capsule and retrieve Four different Simmi figurines. Once the team members have their Simmi Capsules, they can proceed to their next clue. But they must be careful in case the vending machine gets stuck and falls on them. Just like Adam your host did. 

Brent and Brant arrive at the Roadblock. Upon seeing what the roadblock is, Brent decides he has it. 

And Brent finds 4 simmis already! 

Nancy on the other hand has no luck and the machine gets stuck. 
"Bang it Nancy! " Geoffrey says, "think of me in bed!"
"Geoffrey!" Nancy yells, "I'll..."

She strikes a seductive pose. And she does get 4 simmis! 

And the other teams start to arrive! Diego's machine gets stuck. 

Sergio's machine gets stuck but he unsticks it to get the 4 simmis.

Ernest and Angela also get stuck! 

Brent and Brant head to the clue box. 

And Hugo and Luna have arrived! 

Ernest gets crushed under the machine! 

Next up is another Roadblock. This roadblock must be performed by the team member who did not participate in the last one. In this roadblock, the team member must grab a snowboard and snowboard down the slope without falling. Once they have done that, they will receive their next clue. 

Brant does his best. 

But he goes splat! 

And the rest of the teams get their Simmi capsules. Please note the teams did get their Simmi capsules in this order:
Brent and Brant(First Place)
Nancy and Geoffrey(Second Place)
Sergio and Joaquin(Third Place) 
Luna and Hugo(Fourth Place)
Lilith and Angela(Fifth Place)
Bob and Eliza (Sixth Place)
Cayden and Ernest (Seventh Place)
Diego and Rodrigo(Currently in Last Place) 

At the snowboarding roadblock now. 

Diego and Rodrigo feel defeated, in last place but vow to fight to stay in the race. 

Brant successfully completes his snowboard!

Joaquin has a spectacular fall! 

Geoffrey goes splat!

Rodrigo nails the snowboard on his first try! 
"I may be old but I've been around long enough to snowboard!" 

And Hugo completes the snowboard! They can move on! 

Joaquin succeeds! 

And Cayden proves the elders can snowboard! 

Bob manages to nail the landing!

Geoffrey has a hard landing! 

But he finally has it! 

And Angela falls! 

Angela and Lilith are in Last place! 

Teams can now travel to the Onsen Bathhouse to relax before they begin their detour in the morning .

In the morning, the first four teams will depart at 10 a.m and the last four teams will arrive at 11 a.m .

In a detour, they have a choice of two tasks. 

Teams will choose one of two tasks. In DaPal, teams must travel to the Onsen Bathhouse. Once outside they must build 2 different   snow pals together to receive their next clue. .

 In DaNoodle, teams must travel to the Bar where they will buy 2 bowls of noodles from a vendor. Teams must successfully use their chopsticks before they receive their next clue. 

However Bob and Eliza must do their Speed Bump and travel to the Park and find Yamachan and get a selfie with him before they can travel to either detour location. They must find Yamachan and not just a statue. They must also do the mountain move before they can move onto the detour. 

At DaNoodle, everyone has trouble using their chopsticks and no one has passed the detour yet. 

Then Brant succeeds! He's got to wait for Brent. 

Sergio finishes! He has to wait for Joaquin! 
"I am so sick of noodles," groans Joaquin. 
"Same," moans Brent. 

Hugo and Luna have to get another bowl of noodles! Hugo is glad he can eat and he's not afraid to keep eating! 

Over at the Dapal Detour teams start building their snowpals. 

And everyone is off to a good start! 

Everyone built their first snowman! They can move onto building the second! 

At Bob and Eliza's Speed Bump 

Bob and Eliza become increasingly worried about the fact Yamachan is nowhere in sight! 

Eliza runs off! 

They find Yamachan! And get a selfie with him!

At the DaNoodle 

Brent and Joaquin fail again. Brent cries "I think I'm going to be a wet noodle by the end of it."
Joaquin" I think I'll be raining noodles...out of my...noodle." 
Brent laughs so hard he chokes. 

Hugo and Luna adopt a new strategy and eat their noodles right outside the canteen. And it seems to pay off! Hugo and Luna pass each with a confident buff! They move into First Place! 

Currently in First: Hugo and Luna!

Brant and Sergio and only look on hopelessly as Joaquin and Brent fail ...again. 

Brent succeeds! Joaquin succeeds! 

Bob and Eliza head for DaNoodle! 

And they even sit at different tables! Both are having trouble with the chopsticks! 

At DaPal Sims all manage to make 2 different snowmen each. 

Teams must now travel by cable car to the top of the mountain where they will perform a rocky challenge to receive the next clue. 

Meanwhile Eliza and Bob (Currently in LAST PLACE) are at the DaNoodle Detour. 

They both try a few times but finally both get it! 

Before teams can check into the pit stop, they must scale this rock face. If both team members fall, they take their place at the back of the line and must try again. (Insert an ad here for Landgraab Insurance.)

The teams race towards the rock face! 

Bob and Eliza arrive unsure of how far behind they are. 

Nancy and Luna both took a hard fall 

Geoffrey makes it up. And so did Hugo but Luna and Nancy didn't so they have to wait ! 

Angela and Lilith. You're Team Number #1! And that means you are still in the race. For winning this leg you have both won a brand new set of skis, 2 snowboards and an all expenses trip back to Mt Komorebi to spend during the Festival of Light with a special visit from Yamachan! 

Hugo and Luna. You're Team #2! And that means you are still in the race. 

Cayden and Ernest. You're #3!

Rodrigo and Diego. You're #4!

Brent and Brant! You're #5! 

Nancy makes her way up! 

Nancy and Geoffrey. You are team #6! 

Now it's a battle between Sergio and Eliza! Eliza scales the rock wall! 

Sergio takes a hard fall. Joaquin can only look down in horror, knowing they are probably last! "Come on Sergio!" he urges, "we've got to finish!" 

And finish they do. Joaquin and Sergio. You are the last team to arrive. And I am sorry to tell you, that that does mean you have been eliminated from the race. 
Sergio "I'm sorry Joaquin."
Joaquin" Don't worry bout it. Just means we gotta go home."
Sergio"Go home to our boring jobs you mean. "

Well done to the boys. Are you sad to see them go? Who are you rooting for the win? Just 7 teams to go. On the next episode well, I hope you like sand.
